Alan Zanavich, of Waterbury, was arrested on an active warrant by police officers in Hamden and charged with four counts of failure to register as a sex offender.
The South Main Street resident, 53, is being held on a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on June 11.
